Rothchild Law Office is committed to making this website usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. We want every visitor — whatever their vision, hearing, motor ability, or cognitive needs — to be able to read about our practice, understand their legal options, and reach us for a free consultation.

Accessibility is treated as an ongoing responsibility rather than a one-time project. We work to remove barriers on this site as we find them, and we review accessibility whenever we add or change content. If any part of this website prevents you from getting the information or assistance you need, we want to hear about it and we will help you another way in the meantime.

We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA as our reference standard. These guidelines, published by the World Wide Web Consortium, explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities. They are also the standard most commonly applied under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.

We are working toward substantial conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We do not claim that this website is fully conformant at this time. Some content may not yet meet every success criterion, and we are addressing issues as they are identified.

Measures currently in place on this website include:

– Text that resizes and reflows on phones, tablets, and desktop browsers without loss of content;

– Keyboard access to navigation, links, form fields, and the privacy controls, without requiring a mouse;

– Form fields with visible labels and clear error and confirmation messages;

– Descriptive page titles and a breadcrumb trail on interior pages;

– Color and contrast choices intended to keep body text legible;

– Privacy controls that are keyboard operable, carry visible focus indicators, and respect a reduced-motion browser setting.

We would rather tell you what is unfinished than overstate where we are. The following are known and are being addressed:

– Heading structure. Section titles on several pages are styled text rather than true heading elements, which makes it harder to skim a page with a screen reader.

– Image descriptions. Some decorative and photographic images do not yet carry written descriptions.

– Page landmarks. Not every page marks its main content region for assistive technology.

– Focus visibility. Focus outlines are suppressed by the underlying site template in some places and are being restored.

We want to be straightforward about the areas where visitors may still encounter difficulty:

– PDF documents. Some court opinions and other documents linked from this site are third-party PDFs that were not created by our office and may not be tagged for screen readers. Contact us and we will provide the contents in an accessible format at no cost to you.

– Embedded third-party content. Video players, maps, review platforms, and the spam-protection widget on our contact form are supplied by outside providers. We do not control their code, and their accessibility may vary.

– Older archived content. Case results and articles published before our current accessibility practices were adopted are being reviewed and updated over time.

This website is designed to work with current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge, used together with common assistive technologies such as screen readers, screen magnification, speech recognition, and browser zoom. Visitors using significantly older browsers or assistive software may have a degraded experience.

If you have trouble using any page, document, or form on this website, please tell us. Describing the page address, what you were trying to do, and the browser or assistive technology you were using helps us fix the problem faster — but you do not need any of that detail to reach out.
