Drunk Driver Gets Four Years for Deadly Cincinnati Truck Accident
It was just before midnight on Aug. 11, when Nick Taylor, 32, of Pheasant Ridge, and the son of a police officer, was drunk behind the wheel. His careless actions caused a truck accident in Cincinnati and cost another driver his life. As his 1999 Jeep Cherokee flew down Interstate-75 at 73 miles per hour, he lost control and crossed several lanes of traffic. Around 8:30 Thursday morning, in the 5000 block of Winneste Avenue, in Winton Hills, a car hit a school bus in a head-on collision injuring three adults and sending three children to the hospital. According to the District 3 Fire Chief, the accident occurred when Phillip True, 27, crossed the yellow line and struck the bus.
