Motorcycle Collides with Semi in Florence
A motorcyclist was killed after a devastating collision with a tractor trailer in Florence, Ky. The motorcycle crash happened on southbound I-71/75 around 7:30pm Sunday evening. According to Florence police a 62-year-old riding a Harley clipped the left rear tire of a semi while attempting to switch lanes. It caused him to lose control of his bike and wreck near the Burlington Pike exit. The accident shut down three lanes of the highway Sunday night for several hours while emergency crews responded. This past Tuesday afternoon, the intersection of US-52 and Adamson Road in New Richmond was the scene of a terrible crash involving three motorcycles and a cement truck. The three motorcyclists were traveling together, eastbound on US-52, when one of them lost control and veered into oncoming traffic striking a cement truck.
