Two Dead and Another in Critical Condition after New Richmond Motorcycle Accident
This past Tuesday afternoon, the intersection of US-52 and Adamson Road in New Richmond was the scene of a terrible crash involving three motorcycles and a cement truck. The three motorcyclists were traveling together, eastbound on US-52, when one of them lost control and veered into oncoming traffic striking a cement truck. Around 8:30 Thursday morning, in the 5000 block of Winneste Avenue, in Winton Hills, a car hit a school bus in a head-on collision injuring three adults and sending three children to the hospital. According to the District 3 Fire Chief, the accident occurred when Phillip True, 27, crossed the yellow line and struck the bus. 18-year-old Dakota Reamer of Cleves, Ohio was riding his bicycle Friday night around 10:00 p.m. when he was struck by a car while crossing the intersection of U.S. Highway50 at Mount Nebo Road. He was hit by a 2006 Toyota Corolla driven by Mearl Smith, 44, from Fairfield. Smith was driving westbound when the crash occurred. He was not injured in the crash and has not been charged.
