Two Fatal Semi Truck Accidents In Ohio Last Week

On Wednesday, Feb. 1, a fatal crash shut down State Road 32 in Adams County. The horrific collision occurred little before 6:00 a.m. on eastbound SR 32 near Portsmouth Road. A 54-year-old man from Amelia was traveling down the highway when an 18-wheeler failed to stop at a stop sign and turned in front of him, the Ohio State Highway Patrol reported. The semi truck was being driven by a man from Buford, Georgia when it slammed into the Amelia man’s pickup truck. The driver of the pickup was pronounced dead at the scene. Cincinnati Driver Ejected in Yet Another Multi-Car Accident on I-75

On Saturday, Jan. 7, one person was hospitalized after a multi-car accident on Interstate 75. The crash, which involved three cars, was reported about 10:15 p.m. on I-75 near Paddock Road. Emergency personnel said one of the drivers was ejected when their vehicle slammed into a median wall. The northbound lanes of I-75 were closed for two hours while emergency responders cleaned up the wreckage. The injured driver was rushed to University Hospital.
