Second Sunday Family Showtime at the Clifton Cultural Arts Center
This Sunday, Feb. 12, the Clifton Cultural Arts Center will host its Second Sunday Family Showtime.
Jack and the Gentle Giant, presented by The Madcap Puppets Theatre Company, is a sequel to the famous fairy tale Jack and the Bean Stalk.
The story finds a grown-up Jack faced with the gargantuan task of taming the most despicable giant of them all. He teams up with his sons and his magic bean stalk, which can talk, to get the job done.
In addition to the title story, Sunday’s performance will offer audiences three more tall tales: The Stone Giant, an Iroquois legend; The Heartless Giant, a Czech Republic folktale; and The Brave Little Tailor, a German fairy tale penned by the Brothers Grimm.
The performance is free for children 12 and under. A suggested donation of $5 for adults is payable at the door.
The show will start at 2:00 p.m.
A free reception will follow at 3:00 p.m.!
