It was just before midnight on Aug. 11, when Nick Taylor, 32, of Pheasant Ridge, and the son of a police officer, was drunk behind the wheel. His careless actions caused a truck accident in Cincinnati and cost another driver his life. As his 1999 Jeep Cherokee flew down Interstate-75 at 73 miles per hour, he lost control and crossed several lanes of traffic. A deadly car accident occurred Friday, February 3, in Clermont County. According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the wreck happened on the westbound exit of State Road 132 and State Road 32 around 6:00 p.m. Police say that James Bickett, 24, of Goshen, was killed when the Mitsubishi Eclipse he was driving was struck by a Dodge Ram, driven by a Batavia man.
